Details ya’ll? Let me start off by saying, I long for summer so I can pull off today’s look again . The weather at the moment is very restricting. obsessed with rompers and have no particular reason.
Been busy surfing the Internet for puns, my week has been full of sarcasm and giggles.
- Here are a few examples, I just had to share:
Pun fun(see what I did there, rhyming my friend)
1.Dear couples who fight in public, stop trying to whisper and would it kill you to include a back story?
2 . love is telling someone to go to hell and wondering if they will get there safely.
3. The only thing more important than your happiness is mine so get on it!
4.The first step to forgiveness is realising the other person was born an idiot.
5. Never laugh at your boyfriends choices…. You’re one of them.
LOL, I’ll stop here for obvious reasons such as I’m not looking for a job as a comedian and that my ribs hurt already. 😂I can’t.
Check out the golden button.so bougie ,just the way I like it.
Out of curiosity, what summer outfits do you think is a must have?
Love and love.

Hello my wonderful readers. I trust that the silence wasn’t deafening. A four month break was exactly what I needed. Cheers to great comebacks and undefeated soul. Yes, it takes guts to run a blog. My long break consisted of self reconstruction and by that I don’t mean botox. Oh my lawd, no! Just had to be precise, hit that nail on the head. I have learnt a lot through my break and most of it you’ll know as the days go by.
My reading culture has improved going from book hunting in Nairobi streets to online scouting. Currently reading The Beach House by Jane Green. For sure I’m finding it hard to put that book down. It’s official ,I plead guilty to crimes of endless book scrutiny call me an ‘ultimate bookie.’
A week ago, Faith(a great friend of mine) and I went shopping and came across a dress that caught my eye. The dress had a leather waistline with sweetheart bust, waistline and adorable bowtie at the front. Tried it on and vuala!💁 The fit was perfect.I ended up taking it home with me. Sigh.#ootd
For all those who missed me.. You’re girl is back💋 and I’m here to stay. Would be delighted to hear what styles I should incorporate and any feedback you have.
Love and love.
P.s There is freedom in writing or literally work. Subjects of authors get to live for decades.

My week has been quite interesting, started off on a totally new slate. A friend of mine dealing in cosmetics got me a complete kit of makeup brushes. All this was after blubbering to him how seven brushes is a tad much for makeup application. However , I’ll be using them just give a couple of weeks and you will see my expertise.
I was trying to keep today’s post as simple as possible and it hit me. Down memory lane…there was a meeting i attended in parklands. The topic was “would you rather cry in a Range Rover or smile on a bicycle”. Quite a topic, the conversation juggled between prosperity and individual genuineness.
As for missvee here, I’m sure you cant wait to hear what i had to say but Lets switch it up.
I’ve always wanted to learn how to ride a bike, my attempts proved futile. Its the scars i would end up with that made the process more disheartening.
I peddle the tricyle at the gym but not a bicycle. Haven’t given it a shot in a long time.
Don’t know what you would go for but hope it will make you happy.
My turn to contribute on the topic came, i said that I’d rather learn how to ride a bike before driving a range. The Range can come, tears of joy won’t hurt this soul.
I chose a warm sweater, straight floral lace dress and ballerina shoes. I bought the sweater only cause of its vintage buttons. Who does that? Well, i do.

Happy belated valentines🌹.Keeping in mind it was just yesterday, days fly!
Earlier in the week i was engrossed in Richard Branson’s book screw it, lets do it. Read the unedited version but found it short and precise. I am amazed at how an individual can live such an unorthodox life and still acquire the most out of it. He dropped off school at 16 years to go take on his magazine and run it pro. Now, this is something you don’t hear of everyday. His life is so contradictory to what the everday kid has grown up to believe. It is good and assuring (not 100%) to know that there isn’t a manual on how to go about life. One can do their own thing and get it right . Make it a plan to read it you’ll learn a thing or two.
I got off to a busy start knowing that i haven’t posted for a fortnight. It was mind boggling trying to find the venue for the shoot. We finally found a place that oozed classic. I am a sucker for vintage themes and know that detail is everything. When i was 6 years my mom used to sow pretty floral dresses that would leave me in awe, ever since I’ve been recreating similar scenarios in my head. Since there was a chance to bring it to life, i thought “why not?”
We got an array of vintage cars to work with. Two black Volkswagen beetles ,one immobile the other functional and a cream one to accompany them. My kind of style, believe me when I say it was a field day. Felix the comedian was part of the team. All with the aim making the most of a cloudy day after a slight down pour. Pure bliss.
What are some of the things that you reminisce? Does it leave you with that wide smile? Do tell, would appreciate your response and reply in the comments section. Good morning? (Depending on the time you’re reading this). Waking up to the smell of rain and a beautiful sunrise. Nothing beats that. I get chills when my eyes stumble upon that beauty.
This week i made a bold move and decided to step out into the unknown.Ofcourse I’ll fill you in;deciding to take the blogging quite seriously(not that i didn’t, just on another level). To be honest this is fun when it comes to pouring out my thoughts and getting to share them. You may be familiar with a this particular drawing of a circle. Its tiny with an infinate space around it.
The smaller circle is your normal or usual comfort zone while the space is not comfortable but where life begins.
That feeling i get in my belly once i decide to move into that wide space is no joke. Thanking God for that bold outlook on life. I read something from Robin sharma’s
book Discover your destiny with the monk who sold his Ferrari that set me on balance.
A boat that never ventures beyond its moorings will never be damaged, but that’s not what boats are made for. Similarly, a human being who never dares to walk out into the unknown spaces of his/her life will never get hurt-but that’s not what human beings were designed for.
It’s exactly what everyone needs to know. Can’t beat that, can you? I took on a casual, laid back kind of swag for facing my butterflies. The wind was just perfect accompanied with a floral print scarf that blew in motion . We were going for a modern day but a classic Marylin Monroe appearance. Sneakers and a skater skirt bring out the girly look and also says ‘bring it on.’
Have you taken time to feel the breeze on your skin, the sound of birds chirping or peaceful silence? You should, tranquillity at it’s best. Details

This takes me back to my childhood days, not so long ago. That feeling i would get once i discovered the solution to a sum that made my head hurt at the beginning, winning a basketball match to a mean machine team or scoring good grades at the end of a busy school term.
It’s about having that feel good moment, a cloud nine. Makes me want to pull a Shakespeare’s line… “to be or not to be?” Be bold, be courages. I can’t say that it takes nothing, that would be such a humongous lie ( if i did you probably come looking for me with a not so pleasant facial expression- my imagination is out of this world)
There are a million times when throwing in the towel seems fair enough. Oh, what the heck! “Probably this is not meant for me”, then whose is it for?
The whole point is go for what the mind and heart seem to agree on. Once you acquire it, don’t be afraid to dance to the will-i-am feeling myself song and close with a glass of champagne. Look at you! With that lit face… Perfect.
I chose a simple yet classy look, nice for a cloudy day. You can rock this when going to meet up with your girls or an evening brunch. No, the train didn’t leave me, i decided to walk. (giggles)

Hello i trust your week has been superb. If not no need to worry-better days ahead. On my first post i’ll talk about one of my best experiences from 2015.
Started out as a typical Saturday morning. All that run across my mind was that i had a photoshoot. No spoilers but it was February 14th… now you where the bold tittle was derived . I left the house at around 12:30 noon which gave me ample time to head to the venue.
We ( the crew) had no idea it would rain. I had to stay with an undone brow. Why you ask? Just as steve was getting down to threading the other brow we had to run for shelter. Once he got down to the palettes none was disappointed. Makeup never looked and felt good, well atleast on me😂
The dresses looked dashing in the stricking red plus kikoi detail. S/o to all the designers who come up with ravishing pieces.
Lights, camera and strike a pose.
I dont know what stood out for you in the past year but i would love to hear. Feel free to share and give your feedback in the comments section. Let’s journey together..
Lots and lots of love.
